Further Information
Luise started her PhD last year at TU Munich and Helmholtz Center Munich, working on improving the microbiome sequencing pipeline with Prof. Dr. Claudia Traidl-Hoffmann and Prof. Dr. Dirk Haller.
She has a bachelor’s degree in human biology from the University of Greifswald, but have always had a strong interest in statistics and bioinformatics. Therefore, she continued in public health at LMU Munich for her master’s degree and studied medical informatics in Bordeaux, France.
In her PhD project she is combining laboratory and computational aspects to improve our understanding of the human microbiome and its association with health and disease.
